Shortly after his 19th birthday Eubank turned pro, and after a steady start to his career he moved back to England, amassing a record of 24 straight wins in five years. On November 18, 1990, he became WBO middleweight champion, defeating arch-rival Nigel Benn in one of the all-time classic bouts, staged at the NEC in Birmingham.

In 1991 after beating Michael Watson points, Eubank moved up to the super-middleweight division with a magnificent record of 28 wins and no defeats.

On September 21, 1991, he beat Watson in the 12th round of an epic rematch at White Hart Lane, to take home the vacant WBO super-middleweight belt.

The Brighton-based boxer was a world champion for five straight years between 1990 and 1995, and was unbeaten in his first ten years as a professional.

A true star in what was a golden era of British boxing, Eubank retired in 1998 with a career record of 45 wins (23 knockouts), two draws and five losses.
